The Six Stepping Stones
to creating your bespoke engagement ring
1. Inspire
The first step in the process of designing and creating an engagement ring is to share any inspiration you have, whether that be photos, physical objects, a mood board or any other vision you may have. I then like to set up a meeting (face to face or video call) to get to know your story further, and so that you can answer a few important questions to make sure that, design wise, we’re on the same page.
2. Source
After the first step, I will start sourcing the centre stone(s). You will be able to choose from a variety of conflict free ethical stones that will take centre stage on your bespoke ring, and together we can select the perfect option for you.
3. Sketch
I will then sketch a few ideas using the chosen gems and inspiration pictures we collated. We will talk through all of the designs, and you can choose and make adjustments to your favourite. Additional special aspects to your ring can be mentioned at this stage, such as engraving or hidden details. This leads to the quote and a 50% deposit to confirm the commission.
4. Visualise
Once the sketch is approved and deposit finalised, you will receive a 3D rendering of your custom engagement ring. This helps you to visualise and experience the final piece and see if there are any further adjustments to be made. I will give you the measurements to scale, to aid further in the fine details.
5. Approval
The fifth step is your approval of the final ring design. Some like to peruse for a while, whilst others know instantly. This is a special moment for you and your partner so it’s important to get it right.
6. Finishing
The final step is the finishing. Your engagement ring will be cast in the precious metal of your choice. The stones are set and any engraving or hallmarking complete the ring. Once your ring is ready, you are able to pick it up if you’re in Ibiza or it will be lovingly sent via an express 48H delivery service (fully insured and trackable).
