In April 1987 Lucy - the first child to her parents a complete joy - was born in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. A kind, loving and thoughtful little girl she gave us an added light as a family. She was very talkative and could hold a conversation with an adult at 2 years old..
She showed a keen interest in style from an early age and would love to play dress up. Lucy would rummage through my jewellery box, put on all my bangles, mismatch clip-on earrings - anything that made a noise when she moved!
As a young teenager she was a county level runner. Her commitment to running and strict training regime taught her self discipline and determination. Work was always something that Lucy wanted to do, the freedom and rewards it gave, matured her. She worked from the age of 13 and hasn’t stopped since.
After finishing a Sport Science degree at Middlesex University, Lucy relocated to Manchester in 2012. Whilst in Manchester - a city that has creativity, art, music and expression running through its veins - Lucy experimented in design. Taking up an evening Art & Design course at the Manchester College, she met a plethora of inspirational mentors and teachers. She then knew this was the right step for her.
At night school she watched in awe as the master craftsmen and mentors passed on invaluable knowledge. She honed in on these acquired skills that were quickly becoming a passion.
In 2016, Lucy and her partner moved to the Balearic Island of Ibiza, the perfect destination for her creativity to develop and flourish. There she set up her first workshop - at the kitchen table - teaching herself bench skills and gradually mastering them. Now, she designs and makes stunning, unique wedding jewellery for lovers, and lovers of Ibiza.
