The Six Stepping Stones
to creating your bespoke wedding band
1. Inspire
If you have any inspiration for your custom wedding ring, this is the perfect time to share it with me. Photos, mood boards, wedding ideas or your current engagement ring will all help with the design process. We will then set up a meeting (face to face or via video call) to discuss your inspiration further and so you can answer a few important questions to make sure that, design wise, we’re on the same page.
If we worked together on your engagement ring, this process can be done at the same time.
2. Source
If you would like any smaller gemstones for your wedding band, I will source them and you will be able to choose from a variety of conflict free ethical stones. We will work together to select the ideal options for you, based on your inspiration and desires.
3. Sketch
I will then sketch some ideas using the chosen gems and inspiration we collated. You can choose your favourite design and together we can make any adjustments to make your wedding ring absolutely perfect. If your wedding band is to be fitted to match your engagement ring, it’s worth mentioning at this stage, alongside any engraving or hidden details. I will then supply a quote, and a 50% deposit will be required to confirm the commission.
4. Visualise
Once the sketch is approved, you will receive a 3D rendering of your ring. This helps you to truly visualise your bespoke wedding band and see if there are any further adjustments to be made. I will give you the measurements to scale to aid further in the fine details.
5. Approval
The fifth step is your approval of the final design. You may know instantly, or you may need some time to truly take in the details. Approving the design of your custom wedding jewellery is a special moment for you and your partner so it’s important to get it right.
6. Finishing
The sixth and final step is the finishing. Your ring will be cast in the precious metal of your choice and, if you chose any gemstones, they will be set alongside any engraving or hallmarking to complete your ring. Once the finished wedding band is ready, you are able to pick it up if you’re in Ibiza, or it will be sent via an express 48h delivery service, fully tracked and insured.
